Teen Read Week

With the support of the Canada council for the Arts, we are inviting your students to the Vaughan Public Libraries Event: Unleash Your Story, in celebration of Teen Read Week:

Saturday October 14, 2017 @ Pierre Burton Resource Library
7:00 PM – 11:30 PM

This is an afterhours event for teens only (grade 7 and up) that is all about unlocking your own story, and to celebrate those narratives that mirror your life.

The night will feature an author reading with Allan Stratton, who will talk about his new book “The way back home”. Followed by a writers’ workshop led by Deborah Kerbel, author of “Under the Moon”. Teens will have the opportunity to ask these authors questions about their books, the writing process, and more. We will close the night with a celebration of young adult literature.
