Our Math Mania Night is coming April 6th

Dear Westminster Families, 

On Thursday, April 6th, 2017 we will be having our Family Math Night: Mathemania. We are excited to continue our learning together as a community. This experience is for families with children of all ages K-8. We hope you can join us!

Focus: Mathematical Experiences
Date: Thursday, April 6th, 2017
Time: 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Dinner pizza/snacks for sale (while supplies last)
          6:30 - 7:00 p.m. Learning Overview Assembly 
          7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Learning Activity Stations

Our Family Math Night offers you an opportunity to experience a variety of hands-on math activities with your child in a cooperative and fun environment! Get ready to have some fun and learn a few things too! Activities will range from Art, Math games, physical activities and much more. There are activities for ALL grade levels! There will be six stations in which you will be able to flow freely. After you have visited them you will get a stamp on your passport Your completed passport will allow you to enter a fantastic prize draw. 

The stations include:
- Mathletics (Math in Sport), 
- STEM (Math in Science)
- Playground (Math in Games)
- Art/Music (Creative Math)  
- Mathematizing your Your World (How to see Math in the world around us) 
- Problem Solving (Math Word Problems)

Lunchbox Orders - Program Cancelled

Dear Parents, This is to inform you that due to low student enrollment in LunchBox orders we have to cancel this program for the rest of the school year.  The week of December 17th to 21st will be the last week you can place your orders.   If you have any other suggestions in any other lunch programs please let us know. Booking Student-Led Conferences on EDSBY

Friday, November 2 nd , 2018 Dear Parents / Guardians: Westminster PS is pleased to announce that we will be using an online process through Edsby to manage our Parent Teacher Interviews/Student Led Conferences scheduled for Nov 22 & 23, 2018. Edsby is an intuitive, cloud-based platform that will allow families to easily reserve times to meet with their child’s teachers. YRDSB in partnership with Edsby have created a secure platform that protects the privacy of information for our YRDSB families. Families will need to create an Edsby account to access the online appointment scheduler for their child’s teachers for Student Led Conferences. Only families who create an Edsby account prior to the schedule being opened on November 7 th will have access.
