Thursday, March 30, 2017 6:30-9:00 p.m.
What is ADHD & Understanding ADHD
This session will be geared towards what is ADD/ADHD and how it impacts children and families. The presentation further promotes the understanding that each child is a unique individual with his/her own gifts & challenges. Parents will receive guidance in developing strategies.

Thursday, April 13, 2017 6:30-9:00 p.m.
Simple Gift: Teaching Children Emotional Regulation
This session will explain how parents can teach their child/children to be aware of their feelings, learning to recognize them and develop ways to cope and manage their emotions. The 8 principles of Emotional Regulation will be explained to bring awareness and help develop coping strategies.

Tuesday April 25, 2017 6:30-9:00 p.m.
Parenting Traps and Strategies
This session explains how parents may get “trapped” in escalations and power struggles. It explains why parents experience “defiance and non-compliance” when they ask or request their children to do something. Understanding various traps will help parents learn ways to avoid these traps and develop age appropriate and do-able strategies.

Dear Parents, This is to inform you that due to low student enrollment in LunchBox orders we have to cancel this program for the rest of the school year.  The week of December 17th to 21st will be the last week you can place your orders.   If you have any other suggestions in any other lunch programs please let us know. Booking Student-Led Conferences on EDSBY

Friday, November 2 nd , 2018 Dear Parents / Guardians: Westminster PS is pleased to announce that we will be using an online process through Edsby to manage our Parent Teacher Interviews/Student Led Conferences scheduled for Nov 22 & 23, 2018. Edsby is an intuitive, cloud-based platform that will allow families to easily reserve times to meet with their child’s teachers. YRDSB in partnership with Edsby have created a secure platform that protects the privacy of information for our YRDSB families. Families will need to create an Edsby account to access the online appointment scheduler for their child’s teachers for Student Led Conferences. Only families who create an Edsby account prior to the schedule being opened on November 7 th will have access.
