Chocolate, flowers and cards full of hearts....Happy Valentine's Day!
Those are some of the ways that people have traditionally celebrated Valentine's Day. At Westminster we thought it would be fun to make it a spirit day instead!
We will be celebrating this day as a Friendship Day and encouraging everyone to wear red, pink or hearts on Valentine's Day at school on February 14th. We are looking forward to everyone showing their spirit and participating in this fun and happy spirit day.

In some classrooms at the discretion of the teacher, Valentine Day cards may be exchanged. Students wishing to exchange Valentines cards are asked to include one for every child in the class so all our friends can feel included. Please note, exchanges of candy or treats are not allowed as they are contrary to our healthy school policy. Other than such thematic activities, regular school programming will continue for our students.
