We had an unexpected day on Friday, October 21st at Westminster! Early in the morning we were informed that a water main had burst just outside our school cutting off water to the building. This meant that we could not use the facilities. To ensure the well-being of our students and staff we needed to evacuate to a nearby school for the day. We were bussed to Brownridge PS. Thanks goes to Brownridge Principal Ms Mida and her staff for accommodating and welcoming us so well.
We want to thank our community for your flexibility and cooperation and to those who were able to keep your children home while we worked through these unusual circumstances. Special thanks to our Westminster staff for supporting those students who came to school and enjoyed the surprise field trip to Brownridge!
The water main has now been repaired and all will be back to normal Monday, October 24th.
Wishing you all a good weekend!
